I think it's important that it's just for women because women can be stigmatised and demonised if they have a problem with alcohol   Didn't realise I'd be valued for a women who drank or one who reduced consumption, not just one who stopped. I FEEL SO SAFE HERE   I look forward to coming to the group each week.  It helps me keep track with my drinking and I like the fact that it's just women.  I can talk about whatever problems are bothering me but we also have a laugh too.   I feel much stronger and more able to stand up for myself   This is the only place where I can bring all of myself
It is because you are so flexible and sensitive to individual need I was able to work through things without abandoning the process - which I have done many times in the past elsewhere.
