New group members are welcome throughout the year when places are available. Groups are FREE of charge (donations always
welcome).

SUPPORT GROUPS: Tuesday 10.00-11.30 am. or Wednesday 6.30-8 pm.

Open to all women who are concerned about their drinking. Each week there will be the opportunity to share
experiences and look at where you are in your life. There will also be some focused time to try out new ways of thinking and
new skills e.g. assertiveness, self-esteem, confidence building, relaxation. The group aims to provide an informal, non-judgmental,
confidential space where mutual support can flourish. A qualified and experienced female group worker facilitates the groups.

COUNSELLING GROUP: Wednesday 12.00-1.30 pm. Group currently closed- you can put your name on the
waiting list for a space

Women may develop a problem with, or become dependent on alcohol for a wide variety of complex reasons e.g.
abuse, parents with alcohol problems, stress, peer pressure, lack of self-esteem. The group will provide an opportunity to
explore in depth the issues that are, or have been, relevant to their relationship with or dependence on alcohol. There will
be a focus on the creation of a confidential, safe environment to encourage the individual's potential for growth, healing
and change. The group will be facilitated by an experienced female counsellor, and provides a chance for women to share their
most personal and unique experiences.

DRAMATHERAPY GROUP: Wednesday 6.00-7.30 pm.

Dramatherapy is a way of creatively exploring personal issues, gaining confidence and expressing yourself through acting,
improvising, story making, puppetry and much much more..... It is for any woman who is concerned about their use of alcohol
and enjoys being creative or is looking for personal development in a safe environment. The group will be run by a professionally
qualified and State Registered female Dramatherapist.
